NCC Group’s Instant Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solution launched to detect and block cyber threats targeting remote workforces
With the rapid mobilisation of remote workforces across the globe, we have launched our Instant Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solution, in partnership with VMWare Carbon Black, to help organisations maintain visibility over their IT estate and keep track of malicious activity on employee computers.
From threat identification to investigation and remediation, the fully-managed solution allows our expert team to remotely manage any incidents targeting individual machines that are now being used away from the office in a home or a less secured environment.
To help businesses get this protection into place quickly, we’ve made the enablement process as simple as possible, and can implement this solution across an organisation quickly and remotely. We have also reduced the contract length to just a few months rather than a lengthier contract that may not necessarily be needed in a few months’ time.
Tim Anderson, group commercial director, NCC Group, said: “The COVID-19 outbreak means that many businesses have had to adapt to new working habits, with many employees working remotely for the first time. This means that it’s more important than ever that organisations have effective cyber security measures in place to protect themselves. By offering full visibility over endpoints and security incidents, we hope to alleviate the pressure on our customers and provide greater peace of mind.”
Right now at NCC Group, we are concentrating on how we can help and support our customers with solutions relevant for the current situation. This announcement of our Instant EDR solution follows the launch of our quick-turnaround Security Operations Centre (SOC) solution, earlier in the week, which is ideal for anyone wanting to supplement their existing SOC set up as they deal with resource shortages and office closures.
