TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) is a cybersecurity framework developed by the Verband der Automobilindustrie (VDA), the German Automobile Industry Association. Automotive manufacturers wanting to process sensitive customer information or evaluate the information security of suppliers can use TISAX as a supporting framework to help them with their assessments.
TISAX Assessments cover information security management, data protection, connections with third parties and prototype protection.
Andy Davis, Transport Assurance Practice director, NCC Group commented: “Our Transport Assurance practice has worked closely with the industry for the last ten years to perform ground breaking, research-driven security testing and consultancy. Through the TISAX framework we will use our knowledge and experience to assess manufacturers and ensure we help maintain the high standards set for the industry.”
TISAX is a registered trademark and governed by ENX Association. ENX Association governs TISAX on behalf of the VDA.
