Enterprise IT environments are forced to work at home in a mix of local systems, IoT devices, BYOD employee-owned systems, and cloud-based services. New technological advancements evolve to stimulate new risks and responses. Entering 2021, attackers have gained signiﬁcant footholds in a variety of seemingly non-critical systems. This course opens with a review of threats and trends from 2019-20 that provide valuable lessons on how to detect and respond to modern threat adversaries. The focus is on how organizations should adjust their detection and correction strategies to address these new threats.
