Holyrood Connect’s 10th annual Public Sector Cyber conference
Event date 22 February 2021 - 23 February 2021
We'll be at Holyrood Connect’s 10th annual Public Sector Cyber conference on 22 - 23 February supporting the event for the 5th year running.
As one of the largest virtual gatherings of public sector cyber security and IT professionals from across Scotland and further afield, Holyrood Connect’s 10th annual Public Sector Cyber conference will play a major role within Cyber Scotland Week.
The 2021 edition, taking place virtually, will examine how the COVID-19 pandemic has led to a shift in cyber security threats, and offer the latest thinking on how your organisation can protect itself.
With the Scottish Government preparing to launch its new cyber security strategy, it will also look ahead to the future of cyber security policy in Scotland.
The event is free-to-attend for those working in the public or third sectors, and delegates will be eligible for up to six CPD points (depending on participation levels).
NCC Group Senior Advisor, Tim Rawlins will be taking part in the following panel session on 23 February at 9:15am.
Developing Whole Organisation Cyber Skills
Cyber security is often treated like an issue solely for IT departments - yet many attacks are the result of human error, which can affect any section of an organisation.
In this session we will discuss how to develop a whole organisation approach to cyber literacy and cyber hygiene, and ensure all staff understand their role in preventing attacks.
